Here's the Line Up of Our 2018 Workshops!

We're excited about the workshops that are being presented here at Painted Views Ranch in 2018. As it turns out we've got an amazing variety of media and styles of art being offered this year, so no matter what your interests or your skill level might be, there's a lot to choose from. So let's get started! Here's the list, in chronological order:

Denise Larue Mahlke is our first pastel artist here at the ranch! Click here to see some examples of her gorgeous work up close and personal. Denise loves painting outdoors, so her workshop will be a plein air class and in the month of May the weather should be just about perfect!

Susan Hong-Sammons is excited to be coming to Texas, all the way from Boston! And we're excited about having her here because we're planning to have her back for a whole series of classes that will expand on the previous ones. So her first class with us is designed for the introductory level student to build a firm foundation in how to paint with oils. Future classes are planning to take her students into plein air painting and even portraits.
So while there is a special pre-register price that is good until May 1st (and then the price goes up)
this class would make a great Christmas or graduation gift
for that aspiring high school senior!

Rita Kirkman's pastel work has a certain glow about it that makes you think the subjects she shows you are somehow lit from within! Register for her indoor class soon so you don't miss out on learning how to create that masterful glow.

Judy Wilder Dalton's "Abstracting Landscapes" class in 2017 was so popular this one is sure to fill up fast! So don't wait to sign up or you could miss out on a really fun time!
Robin Thornhill is coming all the way from New Hampshire just to take advantage of our spectacular views here at Painted views Ranch, but the best advantage is that in her plein air class she'll be teaching artists in either oils or pastels, your choice!

Rich Gallego is coming back from California again in 2018 to teach another plein air class here in the Texas Hill Country in that cool calm and collected style that is uniquely his. We remember when Rich was last here he commented that he "...could stay right here for two weeks and never run out of things to paint." So get yourself signed up and come enjoy the experience with us!
And by the way, his painting you see just above was done right here at Painted Views Ranch. Yeehaw!
